Hello, I'm Gemma.
Kindred Connection is a very personal thing. It's just me: one carer, one calendar, one steady presence for the people I visit. That's deliberate. When someone welcomes you into their home, into their week, it should feel like a friend arriving, not a shift starting.

My story
Why I do this.
I've spent most of my working life around people at difficult moments, in the NHS, in HMPPS settings, and alongside families navigating dementia. What I kept noticing, again and again, was how much a bit of unhurried, human attention could change a day.
Kindred Connection is my way of doing that on purpose. Not clinical, not transactional. Just genuine company, delivered with the kind of care I'd want for the people I love.
I keep my client list small on purpose, so every visit gets the time and attention it deserves.
