Companionship & care
Solo carer, personally led

A little company,
a lot of difference.

Growing older can feel quiet, sometimes too quiet. Kindred Connection offers warm, one-to-one companionship for older people: a familiar face at the door, a walk in the garden centre, a proper chat over a cup of tea.

Why this matters

Loneliness is easy to miss, and hard to live with.

Families are busy, distances stretch, and the days can feel long when you spend them on your own. A short visit, a shared errand, a walk somewhere green: these small things bring the week back to life.

That's where Kindred Connection comes in. Reliable company, gentle support, and time that belongs entirely to the person I'm with.

What I offer

Time, attention, and a steady hand.

Every visit is shaped around the person: their pace, their preferences, their day.

Companionship
& trips out

Tea and conversation at home, or a walk to the coffee shop, garden centre, or shops. Unhurried time that makes the week feel whole.

Medication & prescriptions

Friendly, reliable support with taking medication from your named dosette box, and happy to collect prescriptions from your usual pharmacy.

Accompanying to appointments

A calm presence at GP, hospital, and other appointments. Someone to help remember, listen, and follow up.

Personal care support

Gentle support with washing and showering, always unhurried and led by what feels comfortable and dignified.

Dementia-aware company

First-hand experience with dementia care, with familiar rhythms, gentle prompts, and patience without limits.

Meal preparation

Preparing meals and snacks together, and making sure there's always something to drink close at hand.
